High Security Padlocks

When it comes to high security padlocks, it really depends on your application. For standards, it’s best to check the CEN details, the grading system uses a scale from 1 to 6 where 6 offers the highest security rating.  This was devised by major padlock manufacturers in order to define testing standards.

Unfortunately there is not a lock that cannot be cut, however selecting a high security padlock is essential to protect your home or business. It is always recommended to go for a closed shackle padlock because the shackle is more protected from attack. 

There are several contenders but the stand out padlock has to be the Squire SS100 stronghold padlock – this is officially the worlds strongest padlock!! The Squire SS100 is the first padlock to achieve LPCB level SR4 – LPCB’s highest padlock accreditation – it’s a monster.
