One of our top weatherproof padlocks is the Abus 83WPCS/53, a robust closed shackle padlock designed to endure even the most volatile of environments. This is largely due to its NanoProtect shackle, which is a chrome plating which protects the shackle from corrosion and therefore ensures reliability. This pick-resistant lock provides extra security thanks to in-built top class anti-pick mechanics. Importantly, this is a 'closed shackle' padlock, this means that it has been designed in order to expose the smallest amount possible of the shackle.
Our Non-Key Retained option allows the key to be removed from the padlock in the locked or unlocked position, allowing the padlock to remain open without the key inserted. This provides added flexibility when locking and unlocking the padlock, as the key its not required to lock off the padlock when in the open position.
